The 8 minutes computer meditation on the painting “Touched by the Holy Spirit” is the first one available, so fare in English and Swedish. The test results are very pleasing. The meditation has proven to be most efficient, and everyone can easily learn it.

If you were to start meditating on a regular basis, it would take some weeks, rather than months or years, before you get a unique contact with the painting and thereby your inner self. However, you do have to meditate on the painting on a regular basis, in order to achieve this.

guidelines

The following guidelines are not intended to replace or contradict any medical or psychological treatment that you might be receiving. Please consult your health care provider, if you are feeling any uncertainty around this issue.

A minimum of four meditation sessions per week, the first month, is a good goal. The more the better, there is no upper limit. The results will come sooner, and they will be of a more profound nature, the more you meditate on the painting.

Meditate with full focus each time, as if it was the first and only time you were meditating. If you can do this every two days, four times a week, it will actually do you more good than four times a day without focusing.

Many meditators keep a short reflection journal of their experiences, describing in a few words what occurred during the meditation. Things like feelings, childhood memories, impulses etc. This is great to go back to at a later time, when following up the progress and the effects of the meditation.

what to expect

It is quite impossible to predict what will occur in your meditation, and in what order it will occur. We are all different, and you will build a unique relationship with the painting.

What can be said is that the more open, relaxed and focused you are, and the more close you are to your feelings, the more efficient the meditation will be. But do not worry, even if you do not think of yourself as an open minded, relaxed, focused and emotional individual. The results will come in due time. It might take a little bit more effort, and still require only a relatively short period of time.

The meditation is perfectly safe and can be practised by everyone. The only thing that may cause discomfort is that things inside you may be shaken up, feelings will surface, and you will have to deal with them. This may of course be painful in some circumstances, but it is an inevitable part of the healing process.

When dealt with the feelings you have been subconsciously affected by, you will be a more complete person. The unknown parts of your mind will be less unknown, and you will be in more control of your life. Remember, darkness ceases to exist in the presence of light.
