We all have burdens to bear, but many of us are working hard not to let it show… and pretending everything is just perfect.

However, it is impossible to compare individuals suffering and the hardship involved. It all depends on how hard it affected you as a child. If you grew up surrounded by love, and felt safe and secure, negative things will most likely have a lesser effect on you.

Nevertheless, carrying dark memories is a part of being human and alive.
